Thank you for playing.

You helped me fulfill my childhood dream of building an open-world Naruto MMO.

If you really want to see Shinobi Story come back, follow me.

My original Twitter for the game was taken down, so this is the only way I can run a proper interest check.

What was Shinobi Story?

Shinobi Story was a free-to-play, open-world MMORPG inspired by the Naruto universe. It was developed and operated by independent game developer Vlad Shumov from 2019 to 2024. The game featured player-built villages, a deep jutsu system, PvP combat, world bosses, and a fully explorable world spanning the Hidden Leaf, Hidden Sand, Hidden Cloud, Hidden Rain, and beyond.

When did Shinobi Story shut down?

Shinobi Story shut down in 2024 after five years of operation.

Will Shinobi Story come back?

Vlad Shumov is gauging community interest in reviving Shinobi Story. Because the original Shinobi Story Twitter account was taken down, he is using follower count on his personal Twitter account (@VladShumov_, https://x.com/VladShumov_) as the interest check. If enough people show interest, he plans to bring the game back.
