  1. While a cool idea, people have the ability to just macro/hotkey the combinations, which would just serve as a huge waste of time for the devs. At that point, may as well just make it how it is now. Pretty sure this is more or less the system in place. HP/Chakra bar. You will already have to decide if its worth it to use a jutsu to finish off an enemy, then use taijutsu to kill the other (or whatever example you may chose to use) Nah, definitely not. No one should be a 1 man army/raid boss. The team has made it pretty clear that they do not want to reach this type of power levels for an individual player. This just seems like a very silly way to try to justify including jinchuriki in the game. The seven swords are cool and it'd be great if they made an appearance in the game, but you keep going back to this idea of things being OP. The vast majority of people do not want to create a character, develop and progress it, just to have it killed by someone who just so happens to have something retardedly OP weighing the odds in their favor. Its honestly ridiculous to expect this to happen, and a huge burden on the staff. Kinda a contradiction in your logic here..."This thing is OP, which is why you should be able to get it!". Overall, the majority of these suggestions seem to just be "Include OP stuff in the game". Personally not a fan of any of these.
  2. Digging this character concept. Hope to see you in game.

No worries, and I didn't mean to come across as rude or anything! Just think we've seen a lot of this character archetype in a lot of animes, and its somewhat of a comic relief kinda thing. I'd recommend maybe taking a look at the lore if you haven't already, particularly Uchiha, as that is the clan you chose, and trying to base a personality/background based on the information there. There is a lot to go off of, as there is a caste system within the Uchiha... Maybe you can justify your short temper due to being from the lower caste whilst constantly being talked down to by the upper caste. Tons of more options you can explore to add some more layers to your character!

The "cute" young anime girl who is also gory and violent.... Not a fan personally, am sure you can be more creative/original than this.
  5. Option 1 Provides a true sense of danger, and the consequences aren't awful if you can quickly progress back to where you were. Hard to explain why your most hated enemy is left alive after you've defeated them... Also allows you to explore new concepts with alt characters.
  6. Don't like the two death system or an application based death system... With the two death system it entirely removes consequences whether we want to admit it or not. People will most certainly remain in safe zones until their debuff falls off, essentially cutting off death chance for the vast majority of players. On top of that, I am expected to drum up reasoning for allowing my most hated enemy to go free, only sustaining injuries, even though many characters would take this opportunity to strike a decisive, killing blow on the spot. This breaks immersion. Applications are just unnecessary, if there is a dispute with a death, it will go through review anyway, so rather than making an application for each kill and having to review it, the staff can just review the ones with disputes, in theory, lightening their load and not keeping characters in limbo for every single kill, as opposed to only the ones that are contested. On top of this (and recognizing that we've already had a few gank threats in the discord), lets put our trust into the community to weed people like that out, and our trust in the team to reverse kills that were clearly not done within the confines of the rules.

Unobtainable goals makes it so you always have something to RP towards. Think of someone in the future trying to destroy Konoha. Very very very high chance that'l never happen, but they will still always have something to do based around that goal, whether it be attacking Konoha nin, destroying supply shipments, etc... It amazes me that you would quote this thinking it strengthens your argument. Imagine someone investigating this phenomenon.... "Our officials had little to information to go on with the Va'al... Their official report offered the possibility that it was just an invention of the Te No Sekai people" I doubt the writer of this story intends for this beast to ever come up against any shinobi, and I doubt any shinobi will have a teleportation jutsu, considering they have said many times power scaling will be based on part 1. You're still not grasping the fact that this is an interpretation of the world of a particular culture. The Va'al could be based on a summoning jutsu a shinobi from long ago had to fight, one that was very strong, and inspired this story that was passed down from generation to generation. This seems like an original story. It is not "twisting" anything as this is (at least I assume) a legend that has been passed down from the older generations.
  9. Not sure what about this would give you Danzo vibes.
  10. Its pretty clear, but if you want me to spell it out for you - An older, clanless shinobi had long ago began preaching about how one of the three main clans/Feudal Lord will eventually gain control of the entire country, and force everyone to live under their rule of law. Shortly before alpha release, he was killed under mysterious circumstances, which further rallies the commoners against the three main clan/Feudal Lord. The leaders of this org are looking to make the followers of Noboru a prominent military faction so they are not forced to pay taxes or live under one of the three main clans/Feudal Lords rule of law. Pretty much just wrote out the interest check paraphrased, so not sure how you didn't understand the first time.
  11. @Megawin79 We are willing to recruit OOCLY. Tetsu is the leader of another organization that will potentially be at odds with ours, hence my reply to him.

I think you should broaden your horizons. Since this is an RP game and not the actual Naruto show, people will be employing concepts that you may find completely alien, but that does not mean they' re not compatible with the game. If you wanna read something more in line with the narutoverse, you can just skip it over, no one is forcing you to read.

Just because this is the narutoverse, it doesn't mean that particular cultures don't have their own interpretations of how things came to be. Different interpretations of how stuff works should be encouraged even.
  14. Agreed. The character is very much so your typical Uchiha archetype (parents died when he was young, basically sole goal is power), and claiming he learned "all" of his parents jutsu (who I assume were at least around 30 years old) is quite a feat for an 18 year old. Another thing is the bit about him being a prodigy. I'd really avoid this characteristic as it is also extremely overdone, and implies a lack of character flaws, which is just entirely uninteresting. This doesn't really make sense to me considering he was spoiled and given everything he wanted as a child. Usually, spoiled kids tend to freak out when things don't go their way, so maybe tweaking the bio a bit, you could say that he has a tendency to lose his temper when he loses control of a situation, which would be an interesting character flaw to have, something that the character is seemingly lacking In summary, I would tweak a bunch of things in this bio, and try to develop a more original character. Uchiha whose parents died and are now seeking power are a dime a dozen in the Naruto RP community.
  15. Character will be heavily involved in political RP, and as such, doesn't make sense for him to be in his teens or even early twenties. Obviously there are exceptions to this but I'm not one of them. Thanks for reading.
  16. Probably will add more entries. Was unsure if I should allow the reader to put the pieces together based on this small snipit, or if I should add further detail. Thanks for reading.
  17. Age: Late thirties Affiliation: The Noboru Syndicate Occupation: (Formerly) Shinobi of the Feudal Lords Army Height: 185.42cm Weight: 83.9kg Entry 1: During my journey to the Uchiha Compound for routine delivery, my convoy and I stopped at a neutral village, far away from Feudal territory. For just a short while, we were able to escape the stress of traveling contested roads, sighing out relief by filling our bellies with local meat and rice. I had finished my meal faster than most, and on a whim decided to take a stroll around the small settlement. It was during this that I noticed a charismatic older man who had enticed a small crowd, prompting cheers after each sentence he spoke… Having seen my fair share of preachers in the past, I quickly assumed him to be nothing more than a charlatan, likely asking for donations to support a fraudulent cause. To my surprise, he made no mention of coin or financial aid, nor did he or the crowd disperse once they saw me, a shinobi bearing the emblem of the Feudal Lord… What was even more surprising was the presence of Nobu among the congregation. Nobu, a shinobi whose family I had known since boyhood, was a man of simplistic roots, but certainly not one to be easily manipulated by some scoundrel. I listened to the old man briefly as he spoke of the downtrodden of our country, and how things would fare for the lesser clans and the common man once the rule of the land had been won by one of the big three. I thought of my clan… of my family. What if the Uchiha were to be dealt a decisive finishing blow? Would I be expected to grovel at the feet of the Sarutobi? On the contrary, should it be the Feudal Lord and the Uchiha who are victorious, I will have been nothing but a pawn in their game to control this territory… A nameless, expendable body used to further the accomplishments of these “Greater” men. I was never fond of my circumstances, but many had long ago found out that it was better to be a friend of "our Lord" rather than foe. Perhaps this elder had been speaking about something worth listening to. Perhaps if the masses united, we could forgo monthly dues and militaristic service to the Feudal Lord and his regime. Perhaps these are just unrealistic pipe dreams. Unfortunately, my time with the man and the crowd was cut short. Once more, the edge of traveling the barren dirt roads returned to us. Onward to the Uchiha Compound we went.
  18. Appreciate the interest, but not looking to discuss plans oocly. When Alpha rolls around, and if our org becomes public knowledge, maybe we can talk ICLY. Until then, good luck.
